Based in Khartoum (Head Office) and Gadaref (Regional Office), ZWD works in different states, including Gadaref, Kassala, Red Sea, Khartoum, Darfur (especially South Darfur), Northern States and Gezira.
OUR PURPOSE
All our work aims to improve the lives of women, girls, youth and other vulnerable communities in Sudan.
We advocate for their rights and enhancing their roles in the development process.
As a local grass-roots organization, we know where the struggles and aspiration of our target population lay.
Our integrated approach tackles multi-dimensional challenges and unleashes countless potentials in different parts of Sudan. We do not see women and girls as ‘victims’ – they are the agents of change.
Founded in 2000, ZWD has yield transforming impact on the lives of more than 500,000 women and girls in 7 different states across Sudan through 40+ projects.
